What exactly is being from A country or being from a certain Culture?
I'm a Hispanic born in the usa. I dont really do anything related to the hispanic culture or the American culture.
If American means watching American shows and speaking English then wouldn't many people in the world be Americans even if they didn't live here.
According to the dictionary "the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group ".
NOwadays, in this computer /TV age anyone can learn anything from other countries, they can learn languages. They can be anime addicts and decide to live like a Japanese even if they dont live in Japan. People can also watch tv and listen to music of other countries. and then pickup the mannerisms and language of the people there.
So does anything in particular make me American or Hispanic.
If it means living in the country.. then why Hispanics in America are still not considered American.
